Alvin Asper is a VP of Finance at Geodesic Capital and in charge of managing the firm’s day to day finance functions. He brings over 16 years of experience in venture capital, finance and accounting to the firm. Previously, he was a Controller at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and was responsible for accounting and financial reporting of the firm’s carried interest vehicles and management companies. He has also served as a Fund Accounting Manager at Mayfield and Thomas Weisel Venture Partners (Stifel).

Alvin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and hanging out with his wife and twin daughters, watching Broadway musicals, playing and watching basketball and rooting for his Golden State Warriors.
